As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement/Purchasing Staff member to support our supply chain and production operations.


Job Summary

As a Procurement/Purchasing Staff member, you will play a critical role in ensuring that raw materials, packaging components, and other supplies are sourced in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with suppliers, production, and inventory teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials (e.g., paper, plastic, adhesives, inks) and packaging components.
  • Request quotes, negotiate prices, and manage purchase orders with an emphasis on quality, cost, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production to forecast purchasing needs.
  • Track order status and follow up with vendors on delivery schedules, backorders, or quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing reports.
  • Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure supplier compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives and supplier performance improvements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in manufacturing or packaging industries.
  • Familiarity with raw materials and production supplies used in packaging manufacturing is a strong advantage.
  • Good negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
