Professional Experience

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (IF ANY):

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA license is an advantage but not required.Professional Experience

Minimum 1-3 years of solid experience in:

  • General accounting and preparation of financial statements
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Tax compliance (1601C, 1601EQ, 1702Q, 1702, 1604E/C, Alphalists, 2316)
  • Bank reconciliation and financial analysis
  • Process review
  • Working with multiple branches, sites, or affiliated entities
  • Preparation of budget and variance reports.
  • Experience in healthcare, non-stock/non-profit, or shared services is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR forms, eBIRForms, eAFS, eFAST, and statutory deadlines
  • Ability to prepare complete financial statements (BS, IS, CFS, TB)
  • Bank reconciliation and monitoring of multiple bank accounts
  • Accounts receivable monitoring (including HMOs and Companies)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced)
  • Familiarity with accounting systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience preparing notes to financial statements
  • Knowledge of SEC requirements (GIS, AFS attachments)
  • Understanding of internal controls and process documentation
  • Ability to design or improve financial policies, SOPs, and templates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monitoring multiple bank accounts.
  • Help prepare budgets, variance reports, and basic financial analyses.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, including HMOs and corporate accounts.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of BIR tax returns, including:
  • 1601C, 1601EQ, 1702Q, 1702, 1604E/C
  • Alphalists and BIR Form 2316
  • Track statutory deadlines and ensure timely submissions using eBIRForms, eAFS, and eFAST.
  • Prepare supporting documents for BIR, SEC, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with external agencies under guidance of senior finance personnel.

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Assist in reviewing financial processes for compliance with internal controls.
  • Support on-site audits and compliance visits across affiliated institutions.
  • Prepare working papers, schedules, and basic audit documentation.
  • Help maintain organized financial and compliance records.

Coordination & Administrative Support

  • Coordinate with finance staff from different SCHIs for data gathering and reporting.
  • Provide basic finance and compliance assistance when needed.
  • Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
