Finance & Compliance Officer (Willing to Start by January 2026)

The Finance and Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the financial health, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of the Camillian Fathers Inc. and its umbrella health institutions. The role oversees financial transactions, budgeting, reporting, and monitors adherence to internal policies and external government requirements. This position plays a key role in safeguarding company resources, maintaining transparent financial processes, and supporting management in strategic financial planning.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (IF ANY):
Educational Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Management
- Accounting, or related field.
- CPA license is an advantage but not required.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of solid experience in:
- General accounting and preparation of financial statements
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Tax compliance (1601C, 1601EQ, 1702Q, 1702, 1604E/C, Alphalists, 2316)
- Bank reconciliation and financial analysis
- Process review
- Preparation of budget and variance reports.
- Experience in healthcare, non-stock/non-profit, or shared services is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR forms, eBIRForms, eAFS, eFAST, and statutory deadlines
- Ability to prepare complete financial statements (BS, IS, CFS, TB)
- Bank reconciliation and monitoring of multiple bank accounts
- Accounts receivable monitoring (including HMOs and Companies)
- Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced)
- Familiarity with accounting systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience preparing notes to financial statements
- Knowledge of SEC requirements (GIS, AFS attachments)
- Understanding of internal controls and process documentation
- Ability to design or improve financial policies, SOPs, and templates

- Can provide training, guidance, and technical support
- Coordinates professionally with external agencies (BIR, SEC, auditors, banks)

- Willing to travel for on-site audits (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao)
