POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to support our growth initiatives and help drive new product opportunities from concept to launch. This role blends market-facing business development with hands-on product management. You'll work closely with internal teams, licensors/partners, and retail clients to ensure that product strategies align with market demand, operational realities, and company goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Head of Business Development in identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Support negotiations with retail partners by preparing proposals, presentations, and financial analyses.
  • Track competitor activities, consumer trends, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights.
  • Maintain and update sales databases and reports
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop products from ideation to launch.
  • Coordinate sampling, approvals, production timelines, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor product performance, inventory, and customer feedback to improve product assortment
  • Prepare concise briefs and reports for management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in business development, product management, or account management (consumer goods, retail, or licensing a plus). Fresh grads welcome to apply.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, project management tools, and presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with the drive to take initiative.
  • Strong ability to organize and recall key data, timelines, and partner requirements.
  • Quick to absorb new information and apply it effectively across projects and negotiations.
