A Purchasing Assistant supports the procurement team by assisting with tasks like placing orders, tracking inventory, and managing supplier relationships. They ensure timely deliveries, maintain accurate records, and contribute to cost-effective purchasing strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management:Place purchase orders based on current inventory levels and company needs, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Supplier Relations:Maintain communication with vendors, follow up on orders, and resolve any issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Inventory Control:Monitor stock levels, identify purchasing needs, and track shipments to ensure adequate supply.
- Data Management:Update internal databases with order details, maintain records of invoices and contracts, and prepare cost analyses.
- Administrative Tasks:Support the department by performing administrative duties, such as processing paperwork and managing communications.
- Market Research:Conduct research on new vendors, pricing trends, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Delivery Monitoring:Track orders and ensure timely delivery, liaising with warehouse staff if needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php14, Php15,000.00 per month
