We're looking for an Engineering Coordinator who enjoys bringing structure and teamwork into the design process. In this role, you'll work closely with our Design Manager to ensure that all engineering inputs, structural, MEP, civil, and specialty systems, are well-integrated with architectural designs.

This position is expected to work independently, manage priorities with minimal supervision, and make sound decisions that keep the project moving efficiently. You'll serve as the link between designers, consultants, and project teams, helping turn technical details into clear, coordinated, and buildable plans. It's a role for someone who takes pride in organization, precision, and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering disciplines with architects and consultants to ensure seamless design integration.
  • Track and monitor design deliverables to keep projects on schedule.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings and record decisions and actions.
  • Review drawings and specifications for compliance with local codes and client requirements.
  • Support the Design Manager in reviewing and consolidating consultant outputs.
  • Maintain accurate records of design documents, revisions, and submissions.
  • Communicate technical updates and clarifications to teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with BIM teams for model coordination and clash detection.
  • Uphold quality standards and ensure all work follows company procedures.
  • Exercise good judgment when making technical and coordination decisions independently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical).
  • 3–7 years of experience in design coordination, engineering, or project management, ideally within the AEC industry.
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary design coordination and building systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, MS Project, Bluebeam, and document control tools (Procore, SharePoint, BIM 360).
  • Familiar with NBCP, BP 344, RA 9514, and related international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS/EN).
  • Licensed Engineer or PMP/BIM certification is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-driven, dependable, and able to make informed decisions independently.
