DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate all engineering project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Develop, review, and validate Scope of Works (SOW) and Technical Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure technical accuracy and cost alignment.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular status reports for the Engineering & Project Manager.
  • Facilitate project meetings, documenting minutes, action plans, and follow-ups to ensure accountability.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Procurement, and QA) to align project requirements and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure contractors and vendors comply with project specifications, technical standards, quality requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, permits, drawings, and technical reports.
  • Track project costs and resource usage, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of project materials, equipment, and services.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities, ensuring operational readiness of equipment and systems.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures for engineering project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to facility management, cold storage systems, and food manufacturing facilities.
  • Support post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and recommend process improvements for future projects.
  • Perform other related duties that may be assigned by your immediate superior from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or any engineering related field.
  • Preferably a licensed engineer (PRC), but not strictly required if supported by strong project experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering project coordination, preferably in facility management, cold storage, food manufacturing, or total engineering environments.
  • Must be able to create and review Scope of Works (SOW) and Technical Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction/installation methods.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems, utilities, process equipment, and building infrastructure is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Skilled in project cost tracking, scheduling methodologies, and basic risk management principles.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
