Model Coordination:

  1. Develop, manage, and update ELV subsystem models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
  2. Coordinate ELV models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure spatial compliance.
  3. Conduct clash detection and resolution meetings with relevant stakeholders.

Documentation & Standards:

  1. Ensure ELV designs adhere to project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), client standards, and local regulations.
  2. Generate shop drawings, as-built models, and other deliverables from BIM models.
  3. Maintain version control and documentation of ELV BIM files.

Collaboration & Communication:

  1. Liaise with ELV engineers, system integrators, and other trades to gather design inputs and resolve modeling issues.
  2. Support project teams with BIM-related queries and training.
  3. Participate in coordination meetings and provide BIM updates and reports.

Quality Assurance:

  1. Perform regular audits of ELV models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Validate model content against design intent and specifications.

Technology & Innovation:

  1. Explore and implement BIM tools and workflows to improve ELV design and coordination efficiency.
  2. Support integration of ELV models into 4D/5D BIM for construction sequencing and cost estimation.
