Finance Manager (Onsite, Cryptocurrency Exp)

Job Description:

Day-to-Day Financial Operations:

  • Oversee general accounting, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
  • Manage both fiat and cryptocurrency transactions, including reconciliation of on-chain wallets, exchanges, and payment providers.
  • Ensure accurate consolidation of financials across multiple legal entities (BVI, Australia, Philippines, and others).

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, gaming license requirements, and jurisdiction-specific tax obligations.
  • Coordinate regulatory filings, audits, and statutory reporting across all entities.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, particularly in crypto custody and transfers.

Financial Strategy & Analysis:

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Provide data-driven insights into profitability, operating performance, and cost optimization.
  • Support the Managing Director and leadership team with strategic financial advice, investment evaluations, and scenario modeling.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Product Teams to align financial decisions with business strategy.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, tax advisors, and banking/crypto exchange partners.
  • Provide transparent financial reporting to investors and board members when required.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage finance team members.
  • Build and maintain a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
  • Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Gaming, fintech, or crypto industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience reconciling cryptocurrency transactions, managing digital wallets, exchange reporting, and integrating crypto data into financial statements.
  • Strong understanding of cross-border corporate structures (e.g., BVI and Australia), tax obligations, and intercompany accounting.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capability.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail with a hands-on approach.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
