Job Highlights
- Position: Administrative Assistant
- Monthly Rate: Php 45,000-50,000
- Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM CST
- Client Timezone: US Central Time (Houston, Texas)
- Work Arrangement: Work from home
- Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
- Manage billing and collections for counseling services and law firm operations
- Handle both incoming and outgoing records
- Check the records account email regularly throughout the day
- Review and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Send medical and billing records for terminated clients
- Send session reports and invoices to law firms
- Complete balance verification forms from law firms
- Update company systems with records sent dates
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a law firm environment, records management, or medical office role
- Experience with CRM software (MyCase preferred)
- Strong organizational skills
- Good English proficiency
- Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information (medical or financial records)
- Familiarity with privacy regulations like HIPAA is a strong plus
- High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and the broader Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage high volume requests in a timely manner
- Strong data entry experience with EMR/EHR or CRM software
- Excellent written communication skills for professional correspondence with clients or vendors
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in records, invoices, and forms
