Executive Summary
The Workforce Strategy & Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing organizational efficiency and productivity by leveraging data analytics. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting workforce data to provide actionable insights, forecast staffing needs, and develop strategic recommendations that align the workforce with overall business objectives. The analyst will also be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of workforce-related reports and dashboards to various stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Core Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Forecasting
- Workforce Forecasting: Analyze historical data, market trends, and business plans to develop accurate short-term and long-term forecasts for staffing, capacity, and skill requirements.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on key workforce metrics, including turnover, attrition, hiring efficiency, time-to-hire, performance data, and employee demographics to identify root causes and potential risk areas.
- Statistical Modeling: Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling (e.g., regression analysis, simulation) to evaluate potential scenarios and the impact of workforce changes.
- Budget Alignment: Support departmental budget planning and financial forecasting by providing data-backed projections on labor costs and staffing needs.
2. Reporting & Data Visualization
- Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, or internal BI tools) that track key workforce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Standardized Reporting: Produce and distribute accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly workforce reports for different levels of management, ensuring consistency and data integrity.
- Ad-hoc Reporting: Respond to and fulfill urgent ad-hoc data requests from HR, Operations, and Senior Leadership, translating complex questions into precise data queries and insights.
- Data Integrity: Perform routine data audits and quality checks on workforce data across various systems (e.g., HRIS, WFM software) to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting.
3. Strategic Consultation & Communication
- Actionable Insights: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations for department heads and executive teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Human Resources, Finance, and Operations leaders to understand their business challenges and tailor workforce solutions.
- Presentation: Prepare and deliver professional presentations of analysis and recommendations to various audiences, including C-suite executives.
- Workforce Planning: Contribute to the strategic workforce planning process by analyzing skill gaps, succession planning data, and developing roadmaps to ensure future talent needs are met.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in Workforce Analysis, Workforce Management, HR Analytics, or a similar data-intensive reporting role
- Industry Experience (Preferred): Experience in a contact center, retail, healthcare, or other environment with high-volume staffing and dynamic scheduling needs.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel Proficiency: Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/Index-Match, advanced formulas, data modeling).
- Data Visualization Tools: Proven experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Workforce Management (WFM) Software: Direct experience with WFM systems is highly preferred (e.g., Kronos, NICE, Verint, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Data Querying: Proficiency in data extraction and manipulation using SQL is a significant advantage.
- HRIS Systems: Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) like Workday, Oracle, or similar.
