Head of Business Development

The successful candidate will be responsible for the business development of renewable solar market segment. He will lead the end-to-end project management from opportunity identification and feasibility assessment to permitting, contracting, and cross-functional execution to achieve business growth.

The Role

  • Develops new and oversees all Renewable Energy (RE) projects
  • Identifies new and keeps up to date on Renewable Energy (RE) markets, trends, regulations and partnership opportunities
  • Supports conduct of due diligence, negotiations, and preparation of all documentations needed in accordance with official mandates
  • Prepares business cases, in-depth financial models and investments proposals or executive summaries
  • Manages projects and works closely with other departments to ensure project objectives are met

The Individual

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field; MA/MS degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in RE (solar) business or project development in utility scale solar PV sector
  • Experience with Solar PV framework/legislation, permitting process and PPA agreements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to be based in Makati City, with extensive travel to project sites
