Procurement Associate

Position Overview:
The Procurement Associate plays a vital role in supporting the organization's daily operations by efficiently managing the acquisition of supplies, materials, and goods. This position ensures timely procurement, cost efficiency, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requests (PRs) related to gadgets, cafeteria, and coffee shop requirements.
- Source gadgets, technical products, and food items from reliable and trusted suppliers.
- Maintain and update a dependable supplier database for technical and cafeteria needs.
- Endorse validated PRs for approval and process them into purchase orders (POs).
- Coordinate with suppliers to secure complete and duly signed BIR Form 2307 prior to submission to the Finance Department.
- Ensure all procurement billings are properly coded and matched with corresponding POs and delivery receipts.
- Maintain well-organized records of all procurement-related billings, both in digital and hard copy formats.
- Receive all inbound deliveries at the main office and ensure accurate distribution to the respective departments.
- Inspect deliveries to verify quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Report and document any discrepancies or issues encountered during delivery inspection.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with procurement processes (PR, PO, billing, and documentation).
- Proficient in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and relationship management.
- Basic understanding of BIR and finance requirements (e.g., Form 2307).
- Competent in using MS Office applications.
Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective negotiation and communication abilities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills (digital and physical formats).
Other Requirements:
- Physically capable of receiving and inspecting deliveries.
- Willing to work on-site and collaborate closely with various departments.
- Preferably holds a valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
