Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team, focused on driving interest and generating leads for SolarWinds products. This role is crucial in nurturing relationships with potential customers and supporting the sales team through effective communication and lead qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Execute activities for prospecting, lead generation, and creating interest in SolarWinds products among existing customers
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads
- Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate the SolarWinds value proposition
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, assisting potential customers during the product evaluation process
- Manage, maintain, and communicate accurate customer and pipeline records within Salesforce for handover to Sales Reps
- Submit accurate and timely pipeline creation commits on a weekly and monthly basis
- Conduct short, first-touch 5-minute online product demonstrations to potential customer audiences that are both technical and non-technical
- Provide market feedback to include customer priorities and needs
- Engage in "social selling" by creating new, unique content and being comfortable in front of a camera
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of lead qualification, SDR, or sales experience
- Passion for creating interest in prospects to learn more about SolarWinds products
- Enthusiastic and self-starter approach
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Exchange, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Proficiency with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
