Legal CounselWork Arrangement: Night Shift/ Full Remote WorkThe ideal candidate is a bar passer with 5 years of corporate legal work experience within the real estate or other reputable business operating sectors. This is someone with initiative, drive, and strong problem-solving skills, with familiarity in real property and business transactions, and exceptional writing skills. This individual will work under the supervision of the Chief Legal Counsel (in the US) to support various legal and administrative tasks, including but not limited to the following:Must hold a law degree, be admitted to the bar, and be licensed to practice law in the PhilippinesConducts legal research projects and prepare written summaries as needed

Undertakes contractual management tasks and ensure accurate documentation

Drafts initial versions of contracts and other legal documents

Coordinate and communicate with external legal counsel

Act as a transaction coordinator for the new home acquisition process

Proactively identify legal and operational issues and propose detailed action plans

Implement and execute approved action plans from the executive team

Monitor and manage deadlines for entity filings and other compliance requirements

Gain familiarity with Leasing and Customer Service FAQsSupport credit and collections efforts via tools such as the Aptly Collection and Legal boards

Engage and follow up with prospects through the Aptly Collection board until resolution of outstanding debt

Collaborate with the legal team and external attorneys on collection matters

Assist in leasing and customer service efforts, including Lease Renewals and related tasks via the Aptly platform

Provide legal and administrative support to the Chief Legal Counsel and executive team on various projects and initiatives as assigned

Must be able to work night shift (EDT), including weekends as needed by the job
