About the role

Our company is seeking a talented UI Designer (Chinese/Mandarin) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time, on-site role based in Makati City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for designing visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for our innovative web applications.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user experiences
  • Design user interfaces, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, that align with our brand guidelines and visual identity
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate on designs based on feedback
  • Optimise designs for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and platforms
  • Develop and maintain design systems, including reusable UI components and design patterns
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the industry
  • Other tasks assigned by the immediate superior

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
  • Proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin, both written and verbal, in addition to fluency in English
  • Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
