Job Title: Accountant (Financial Planning & Analysis)

The Accountant will not only manage financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting operations but also serve as a key strategic partner in financial analysis and forecasting. This role focuses on leveraging data analytics, risk assessments, and cost optimization strategies to enable executive leadership to make sound financial decisions and achieve long-term business goals.

• Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee all accounting operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing processes.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring full compliance with PFRS, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely submissions to BIR, SEC, and other regulatory agencies.

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to guide strategic business planning.

• Conduct trend analysis, variance analysis, and profitability assessments to inform decision-making.
• Deliver executive-ready reports that provide actionable insights on financial performance.

• Risk & Cost Management

• Perform regular financial risk assessments, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure business stability.
• Support investment decisions through ROI and sensitivity analyses.

• Systems & Process Optimization

• Lead ERP system optimization and implement automation tools to streamline reporting and accounting workflows.

• Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and documentation for compliance and transparency.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with operations, procurement, design, and sales teams to align financial goals with company initiatives.

• Provide financial guidance to leadership for new product launches, pricing, and capital expenditure planning.

• Strong foundation in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), PFRS, IFRS, and Philippine taxation laws.
• Proven ability to develop financial models, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, data visualization) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Oracle ERP).
• Deep understanding of cost accounting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational discipline.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work independently under pressure.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or luxury brands.
• Demonstrated experience in financial audits, internal controls, and ERP implementation.
• Background in cost accounting, investment analysis, and financial process automation is an advantage.
