About the role

St. Catherine Realty Corporation is seeking a dedicated Accounting Associate to join our team in Angeles City, Pampanga. As a full-time Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our bookkeeping and accounting processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Recording and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and maintaining financial reports, statements, and records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Performing data entry and other administrative tasks related to the accounting function
  • Providing support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments as needed
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or small practice accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the finance team and other departments
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
