osition Summary

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all engineering works in construction projects, with a strong focus on MEPFS systems. This role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and sanitary works are executed according to design, safety regulations, and project requirements. The Engineering Supervisor leads a team of engineers and coordinates with project stakeholders to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency of engineering outputs.

Key Responsibilities1. Leadership and Supervision

  • Lead and supervise engineers, inspectors, and technical staff assigned to MEPFS works.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance to ensure efficiency.
  • Support team development through mentoring, coaching, and training initiatives.

2. Project Planning and Coordination

  • Collaborate with design consultants, project managers, architects, and contractors to review MEPFS plans and requirements.
  • Assist in developing schedules, cost estimates, and resource plans for MEPFS scope of work.
  • Coordinate with civil and structural teams to ensure integration of MEPFS systems in project execution.

3. Technical Oversight (MEPFS)

  • Review, check, and approve MEPFS shop drawings, materials submittals, and technical documents.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEPFS systems to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Provide technical solutions to design and site issues, including system conflicts and constructability challenges.

4. Quality Assurance and Safety

  • Monitor MEPFS works to ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of systems to validate quality and performance.
  • Enforce compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards and promote safe work practices.

5. Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain detailed records of MEPFS design changes, approvals, and revisions.
  • Prepare progress reports, technical assessments, and updates for management.
  • Ensure proper documentation of testing and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (with MEPFS background)
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in construction engineering, with at least 3 years focused on MEPFS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MEPFS codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, project management software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Willing to work in Las Pinas City in a compressed time schedule :Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 7pm and Friday 8am to 5pm
