As part of our commitment to excellence, we are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to lead our day-to-day accounting operations and support our financial growth.

Job Summary

The Accounting Supervisor oversees the financial health of our café/restaurant by managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, supervising accounting staff (if any), and supporting compliance with internal controls and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including sales reports, inventory costing, and petty cash
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely recording of all transactions (expenses, revenues, payroll, etc.)
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
  • Supervise posting of sales, purchases, and journal entries
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, EWT, income tax) and assist with BIR filing/reporting
  • Coordinate with the auditor and support during year-end audit
  • Develop or improve accounting systems and internal controls
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Supervise junior accounting or bookkeeping staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting; experience in food & beverage or hospitality industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Philippine tax compliance
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Strong sense of integrity and accountability
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
