Teacher Loan Account Officer

Main Responsibilities:

Loan Origination and Growth

Proactively source and secure new teacher loan clients, ensuring loan volume, profitability, and quality targets are achieved.

Portfolio Expansion

Identify and cultivate opportunities with existing clients to deepen relationships and increase loan penetration.

Financial Analysis and Proposal Development

Assess clients financial profiles, prepare comprehensive loan proposals, and recommend appropriate credit structures.

End-to-End Loan Processing

Coordinate documentation, submission, and disbursement of loans to ensure timely booking and conversion.

Credit Quality and Compliance Monitoring

Maintain loan file integrity, manage post-booking follow-up, and ensure portfolio quality aligns with policy.

Sales and Client Engagement

Conduct client meetings, product presentations, negotiations, and ongoing account servicing to drive satisfaction and renewals.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

Liaise with credit analysts, operations, and collections units to resolve issues and ensure smooth loan delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Education, or related field

Minimum of 3 years' experience in teacher loans or similar products within a bank or financial institution

Existing portfolio of teacher clients is preferred

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quotas

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

Customer-centric with strong sales aptitude and account management capabilities

Detail-oriented, with solid analytical and documentation skills

Familiarity with loan processing software and local banking regulations is a plus

Willingness to travel for client visits and promotional activities
