We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Officer for an aggregate of numerous companies in Metro Manila and Davao that franchise branded food concepts.

The Accounting Officer will oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. This role supervises the accounting team, supports management with financial insights, and ensures timely preparation of financial reports, tax filings, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting team.
  • Review and finalize journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of books.
  • Review budgets, forecasts, and financial statements prepared by the team.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to accounting staff.
  • Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support management in decision-making by providing financial insights and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
  • CPA license preferred but not required.
  • At least of 4 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., SAP or similar).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Strong integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Work setup:

  • On-site reporting, Monday to Friday;
  • 8:00AM to 6:00PM
