Must-Have

  • Configure and maintain native security components such as firewalls, network security groups, security lists, network access control lists (ACLs), and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
  • Configuration of native security solution.
  • Design, deploy, and upgrade security solutions for hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring compliance with all relevant security directives and standards.
  • Develop technical documentation** including security configuration templates, runbooks, and procedures for operational and deployment teams.
  • Leverage scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, F5 iRules) to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring of security components.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze performance of security systems, supporting optimization and effective incident response.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and compliance audits to ensure protection against threats and compliance with policies and frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and mentoring on security best practices and native solution capabilities.
  • Participate in business planning and change management to recommend, implement, and validate new security technologies and policies.

Good-to-Have

  • Deep expertise in cloud-native and on-premises security solutions including endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR, identity access management, and threat intelligence.
  • Experience with security configuration, monitoring, and incident response in environments such as Azure, AWS, and their native tools.
  • Scripting and automation skills for configuration and operation tasks.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Ability to develop documentation and educational materials for broader operational teams.
  • Strong communication for articulating complex technical reports and collaborating with stakeholders
