HR/Admin Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and implement HR and administrative policies, handbooks, and employment contracts aligned with DOLE standards and BOD approval.
- Oversee payroll preparation, benefits management, government remittances, and ensure timely compliance to avoid penalties.
- Assess training needs, coordinate with JERA Asia/HQ for training programs, and support employee engagement and orientation.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and personnel budgeting aligned with company goals.
- Maintain and secure employee 201 files, administrative records, and internal documentation systems.
- Manage facilities, permits, office operations, fixed assets, and compliance with BFP, OSH, and NPC requirements.
- Serve as Safety Officer I and Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
- Collaborate with PwC, TMF, UnionBank, and other vendors for payroll, corporate secretarial, visa, and banking matters.
- Liaise with JERA Asia ICT Team for IT asset management, procurement, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Support BOD/AGM meetings, lead special projects, ensure compliance audits, and uphold coordination with JERA Asia and HQ teams.
Qualifications:
- Over seven years in general HR functions including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, expatriate work permits, payroll, and policy review.
- Skilled in compensation and benefits management, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Experienced in working with Japanese companies, with strong understanding of Japanese business culture and practices.
- Have Safety Officer I.

- POSITION IS MANAGER BUT AS COMPANY SIZE IS VERY SMALL, NEEDS SOMEONE WHO CAN DO AND WILLING TO DO HANDS ON WORK AS THERE WILL BE NO STAFF BELOW HIM/HER AS OF NOW.
