Finance & Accounting Supervisor - Onsite (Ortigas, Pasig City)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Validation of transactions to ensure that system records are accurate, updated and recorded based on approval matrix (payroll, bank transactions, advances, others).
  • Timely recording and checking of recorded transactions (e.g. daily).
  • Prepare reconciliation of accounts (cash, accruals, payroll accounts).

  • Deliver a full range of compliance of the following within expected timeframe: (Withholding taxes, Final tax, VAT, Income tax, Documentary stamp tax, Registration, Books of accounts, Other business taxes and responding to tax audits).

  • Manage PEZA compliance.

  • Prepare monthly schedules of identified accounts (lapsing, prepayments)
  • Prepare other special reports as required.

POSITION REQUREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy , Accounting Management or relevant degree or courses

OFFICE LOCATION: Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig City or Mckinley, BGC

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • CPA is an advantage
  • More than 3 years of experience
  • With supervisorial experience or experience in managing a team.
  • Knowledge on Accounting standards and taxation (audit, EFPS, revenue regulations, PEZA)
  • General accounting experience
  • Working knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Accounting Software
