Job Description

  • Lead and supervise the design team in preparing accurate OSP/FTTx network plans and layouts.
  • Review and validate survey data, ensuring compliance with client standards and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to align design outputs with project timelines.
  • Ensure the accuracy of AutoCAD drawings, BOQ creation, and other design deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team in fiber optic network planning and design.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve design-related issues, and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Conduct quality checks on design outputs to meet safety, industry, and client specifications.
  • Report regularly to management on project status, team performance, and resource needs.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong communication and management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with PLDT/Globe FTTH/FTTx projects, including OSP survey and design.
  • Solid background in project management with proven leadership in execution.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Google Earth, Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel), BOQ creation, and fiber optic network planning.
  • Skilled in cross-department and vendor coordination to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Extensive experience in planning, implementation, and supervision of OSP and cabling projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of network topology, fiber splicing, and construction methods.
