Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting Inspections & Tests:

Performing inspections, testing, and measuring materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from standards.
- Reading & Interpreting Standards:

Reviewing and understanding blueprints, technical drawings, company specifications, and industry regulations.
- Monitoring Processes:

Monitoring production operations to ensure they meet established standards and are functioning correctly.
- Identifying & Reporting Defects:

Identifying any quality issues, flaws, malfunctions, or deviations and documenting these findings.
- Recommending Improvements:

Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process to improve product quality and reduce errors.
- Collaborating with Production:

Working closely with production teams and managers to ensure compliance, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Documenting & Reporting:

Maintaining records of inspections, filling out paperwork, and preparing clear, detailed reports on inspection results.
- Ensuring Compliance:

Verifying that products comply with company standards and relevant legal or industry regulations.
- Accepting or Rejecting Products:

Deciding whether finished products meet standards and can be accepted, or must be rejected.
- Maintaining Equipment:

Ensuring that measuring and testing equipment is maintained and calibrated to various standards.
