GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Human Resources Administration Assistant supports in the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, organizational development and timekeeping.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices; recommend policy updates as necessary.
  • Oversee internal audits and maintain accurate employee records in line with legal requirements.
  • Assist in investigations of employee complaints or concerns regarding workplace practices.
  • Coordinate compliance training for managers and employees (e.g., harassment prevention, safety, DEI, etc.).
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Monitor and manage required documentation such as I-9s, EEO-1 reports, and workplace postings.
  • Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related questions from employees and managers.
  • Knowledgable to government reports and compliance esp to DOLE, PEZA and BIR
  • Follows special tasks as directed by superiors.

· Assumes other duties as assigned by the HR Officer or Managing Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: College graduate with a degree in

Human Resources Development and Management

or any related course.

Experience: Must have at least one (1) to two (2) years working experience in

the same field.
