With a shared goal towards helping Southeast Asia realize its energy transition and net zero targets, Levanta is backed by Actis, a leading sustainable infrastructure private equity firm.

We are developing 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia through M&A and greenfield development of C&I and utility scale projects. Due to business expansion, we are seeking a Legal Manager, PH . This role will be based in Manila, Philippines, and will report to the

General Counsel in the Legal department. Handle all legal related matters throughout project development, including construction and operation

Provide legal support for investment in, or acquisition of, renewable projects within Southeast AsiaLead all legal, contractual and compliance related matters in the PhilippinesProvide legal due diligence and review of related project and transaction documents (offtake agreements, EPC/construction, operation and maintenance contract as well as share purchase and joint venture agreements, etc.)Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts relating to the operation of the group

Manage liaison with domestic lenders and provide legal support in liaising with international commercial lenders and ECAsProvide support on licensing and permit related issues

Provide support on analysis of policy and regulatory matters

Identify risk and compliance related issues and provide mitigation measures under the supervision of the General CounselIdeal candidate should possess

Law degree from a recognized university in the PhilippinesAt least 7 years of relevant working experience within the energy/infrastructure sector in the PhilippinesPrior working experience on transactions in the Philippines renewable sector

Excellent communication skills, fluent in the English language and in FilipinoStrong communication and interpersonal skills

Right to work in the PhilippinesAdmission to a recognized bar is an advantage
