Position Overview
The Sales and Marketing Specialist is responsible for promoting EC Org Dev Services Inc.'s training programs, workshops, and conferences. The role focuses on increasing participation in public training events, building brand visibility, managing digital presence, and generating qualified leads through effective marketing campaigns and community engagement. The specialist will collaborate with the creative and operations teams to develop marketing materials, execute online promotions, and nurture client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Promotions
- Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the company's public training programs, conferences, and organizational development services.
- Create engaging campaigns to drive seat sales and participant registrations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts through analytics and performance reports.
- Assist in creating promotional materials such as posters, email newsletters, social media content, and event collaterals.
- Digital and Social Media Management
- Manage and update official company pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Build and engage online communities related to professional development, HR, and business management.
- Work closely with designers to produce visually appealing and brand-consistent content.
- Respond to inquiries, comments, and messages on digital platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Sales and Client Engagement
- Identify and reach out to potential clients, HR professionals, and corporate partners for public and in-house training programs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through calls, emails, and online networking.
- Support lead generation, sales conversion, and participant registration processes.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth coordination before, during, and after each event.
Market Research and Strategy
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities in the training and consulting industry.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing strategies and program offerings.
- Track participant feedback and analyze customer satisfaction data to enhance future events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or digital promotion (experience in training or education industry is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of social media management and online marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Creative, organized, and goal-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with design coordination tools (e.g., Canva, Trello, or similar).
