Job Title: Line Cook – Western Cuisine
Reports To: Sous Chef / Executive Chef
Company: Palmas del Mar Conference Resort Hotel
Job Summary:
The Line Cook – Western Cuisine is responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Western dishes according to standardized recipes and quality standards. This role ensures smooth and efficient kitchen operations while maintaining hygiene, food safety, and consistency in taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and plate Western cuisine dishes following recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Ensure all food items meet quality, portion, and safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management and report shortages to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements in dishes when required.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Monitor and control food wastage to optimize cost efficiency.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum 1–3 years experience as a line cook, preferably in Western cuisine.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern Western cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary degree or related certification is a plus.

Work Conditions:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php16, Php23,000.00 per month
