Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items accurately according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all orders are prepared and plated in a timely manner to maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation; ensure all utensils and equipment are properly cared for.
- Strictly follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure a seamless and professional kitchen operation.
- Adhere to portion control and presentation standards for every dish served.
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Commis, or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, frying, etc.).
- Ability to remain focused and work quickly under pressure during peak hours.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed.
- Good listening and communication skills to coordinate with the rest of the "Back of House" team.
