JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Line Cook plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by preparing food according to recipes and menu items set by the Head Chef or Junior Chef. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with stocking and organizing kitchen stations to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Preparing ingredients by cleaning, cutting, and cooking a variety of dishes.
  • Plating dishes in accordance with the guidance of senior chefs to maintain presentation standards.
  • Coordinating with servers to ensure orders are accurately prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Cleaning kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, and workspaces, and properly storing them at the end of shifts.
  • Adhering to food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards to maintain a safe and sanitary cooking environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma.
  • Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods.
  • High threshold for heat in a kitchen environment.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Eye for detail and understanding of key procedures.
  • Willing to be assigned in Happy Valley Labangon, Cebu City.
  • Willing to be trained in Manila for 1 to 2 months (Basic necessities will be shouldered by the Company)
  • With complete requirements.
