JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Line Cook plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by preparing food according to recipes and menu items set by the Head Chef or Junior Chef. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with stocking and organizing kitchen stations to ensure efficient workflow.
- Preparing ingredients by cleaning, cutting, and cooking a variety of dishes.
- Plating dishes in accordance with the guidance of senior chefs to maintain presentation standards.
- Coordinating with servers to ensure orders are accurately prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
- Cleaning kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, and workspaces, and properly storing them at the end of shifts.
- Adhering to food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards to maintain a safe and sanitary cooking environment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma.
- Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods.
- High threshold for heat in a kitchen environment.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong task and time management abilities.
- Eye for detail and understanding of key procedures.
- Willing to be assigned in Happy Valley Labangon, Cebu City.
- Willing to be trained in Manila for 1 to 2 months (Basic necessities will be shouldered by the Company)
- With complete requirements.
