KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brand Strategy and Annual Planning
- Lead the development of annual brand plans and regional marketing strategies focused on driving growth in Visayas and Mindanao.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify brand opportunities and threats.
- Budget Management
- Develop and manage the brand's A&P (Advertising & Promotion) budget, ensuring efficient and strategic allocation across initiatives.
- Monitor budget utilization, track ROI of campaigns, and lead monthly budget reviews and adjustments.
- Integrated Marketing Execution
- Drive execution of 360° marketing campaigns, including ATL, BTL, digital, and in-store promotions tailored to regional needs.
- Collaborate with creative, media, and activation agencies to ensure timely and effective campaign rollouts.
- Regional Business Development
- Customize marketing strategies and brand-building programs for Visayas and Mindanao based on local insights and sales feedback.
- Support Sales and Trade Marketing in driving numeric and weighted distribution, channel penetration, and demand generation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Supply Chain, R&D, and Production to ensure product availability, cost-efficiency, and innovation readiness.
- Align with Finance and Sales for accurate forecasting, pricing strategies, and trade initiatives.
- Innovation and Portfolio Management
- Lead product development and brand renovation projects, ensuring relevance to regional consumer preferences and affordability.
- Evaluate performance of SKUs and recommend portfolio optimization based on market and sales data.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Track brand health indicators, sales trends, and share of market using customer portals and syndicated research tools.
- Team and Agency Management
- Supervise junior brand team members and agency partners to ensure alignment with brand goals and timelines.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is an advantage
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in brand management, trade marketing, or related roles in the FMCG or food industry
- Strong background in brand planning, budgeting, and marketing strategy development
- Experience in regional brand execution, preferably with exposure to Visayas and Mindanao markets
- Knowledgeable in consumer insights, pricing strategies, and portfolio management
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance
- Experience in handling ATL, BTL, and digital campaigns, including agency management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation, sales performance tracking, and market research
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Willing to travel for fieldwork, regional immersions, and market development initiatives
