JOB SUMMARY

The Store Development Manager is responsible in managing opening of new stores, including renovations. This role would handle setup of non food category during store setup, opening or renovations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee new store openings and renovations from concept to completion

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and follow the store standards

  • Ensure that new or renovated store layouts and visual merchandising strategies align with brand standards and marketing objectives

  • Lead in the implementation of category development plans in the stores
  • Work closely with various internal teams, such as marketing, merchandising, and operations, as well as external vendors and contractor
  • Collaborate with Merchandising Managers/Buyers on the execution of planograms to elevate customer centricity

  • Manage vendors and contractors involved in construction, design, and setup

  • Use performance data and shopper insights to refine store layouts and product placement for better results

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of  Business Administration/Management, Marketing or any related field
  • Has relevant experience in store opening & store development/renovations, preferably in a retail industry
  • Proficient in project management and customer relationship management
  • Strong market research and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Can work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies
