Job Summary

The IT Operations Specialist – Infrastructure role is to help enable the company make

their jobs efficient thru technology and to manage and secure the information systems

of the company.

The IT Operations Specialist – Infrastructure handles the IT infrastructure requirements

on new stores or renovations such as structured cabling for voice, data, audio/video and

CCTV system; designs office furniture for IT equipment; works with the contractors and

project managers to ensure the IT requirements are met; coordinates with mall admins

for POS requirements.

The IT Operations Specialist – Infrastructure also ensures smooth and streamlined flow

and execution of daily IT-related processes required to run the Office and the stores;

executes Technical IT projects; handles the installation, maintenance, monitoring and

troubleshooting of other IT-related equipment within the Head Office and all stores to

ensure its efficiency and availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A. Engineering Services

  • Understands architectural plans, structured cabling design for CCTV, data, voice, and AV system for new stores and renovations.
  • Handles IT equipment requirements during renovation and/or setup of new stores.
  • Works with the contractors and project managers to make sure that IT requirements are met; Attends progress meetings as necessary
  • Ensures that the IT equipment are aligned with the Brand and Store Design by choosing the right equipment and devices to complement the design
  • Can operate and manage CCTV system, Audio/Video System, PABX and telephony system and other non-computer based equipment
  • Works with Mall admins to comply with the Mall requirements such as connection with Mall's network and Sales consolidation

B. Security and Compliance

  • Helps ensure compliance to all internal IT policies Network Policies, Office Computing Policies, Email and Internet Policies and Mobile Computing and Mobile Storage Device Policy; conducts regular audits/ checks of all units
  • Helps ensure compliance to all external regulatory requirements regarding security
  • Manages processing of securing POS permits for new stores and new POS systems and cancellation of POS permits.

C. Technical Support

  • Provides technical support for Hardware and Infrastructure related issues
  • Provides support on physical connection issues, relocation of wired devices or additional requirements such as camera, data ports that needs recabling.
  • Understands POS System
  • Provides troubleshooting for computing units such as POS, desktops, laptops, CCTV, AV equipment, Wifi, printers and peripherals and all other IT-related equipment.
  • Coordinates with vendors for warranties and repairs and ensures that all IT equipment are covered by maintenance agreement
  • Provides technical support for software applications as needed
  • Ensure that all technical requirements needed for the system to run are met including internet connection, IP address assignment if applicable, PC specs (Hard disk space, OS, etc), pre-requisite software (such as SQL, anti-virus), etc

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any IT related course, i.e., Engineering, Computer Science, IT
  • Technically knowledgeable in most common hardware and software systems used in the IT industry
  • Technically knowledgeable in most common network hardware, software and security appliances used in the industry today
  • Has an Analytical and thorough knowledge on network administration and troubleshooting
  • Flexible, with good communication skills, passionate for work, team player

Willing to work fully onsite in Bagumbayan, Quezon City
