Business Process Analyst

Duties:


•Operations analysis and improvement;


•Benchmark industry practice and standard protocol;


•Process documentation;


•Operations risk assessment;


•Review of Organizational structure and prepare requirements, specifications, and recommendations;


•Conduct Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) to ensure control measures are in place;


•Standardize and harmonize forms and reports in coordination with the Legal Department and process owners;


•Conduct trainings, presentations, walkthrough or workshops related to the project;


•Oversee insurance activities of the Company and its subsidiaries/affiliates as defined;


•Recommend insurance alternatives;


•Help develop the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Qualifications


•Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering


•Three (3) to five (5) years work experience as Business Process Specialist, Documentation Specialist or Policy Specialist in any industry


•Must have good working knowledge in standardization of processes and procedures


•Strong background in Business Process Design, Policy Documentation, Business Writing, Project Management, Quality Assurance Testing


•Possess both soft and hard skills on customer service, decision making, facilitation, supervisory skills and professionalism

Business Analyst

  • Analyzes user domain's direction, structure business processes and requirements.
  • Analyzes and documents business processes and other required information and data.
  • Prepares requirements, specifications and recommendations.
  • Understands how various issues affect each other and the outcome of the project.
  • Improves upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform current industry practices into fresh alternative solutions.
  • Contributes appropriately and substantially to project team meetings.
  • Accurately prepares written business correspondence, circulars, policies procedures and operations manual for IT and non-IT initiatives, that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.
  • Understands technical design specifications.
  • Defines test conditions. Develops accurate and complete test plans.
  • Conducts Quality Assurance testing according to plan.
  • Identifies and documents system or process deficiencies and recommends solutions.
  • Assists in the enforcement of project timelines and schedules.
  • Takes input form Supervisor appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedbacks.
  • Understands the necessity of project standards and applies them consistently.
  • Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agenda.
  • Anticipates user needs before they arise and presents solutions to project management that encompasses issues at hand.
  • Understands expectations that were set with user and recognizes when issues/events may affect delivery.
  • Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project.
