About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at Manila Bankers Assurance in our Makati City Metro Manila office. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing business requirements, identifying process improvements and delivering technical solutions to support the growth of our team. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  1. Gather, document and analyse business requirements from various stakeholders
  2. Translate business requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations and subject matter experts, to design and implement efficient business processes
  4. Identify opportunities for process optimisation and system enhancements
  5. Test and validate new solutions to ensure they meet business needs
  6. Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
  7. Maintain documentation and knowledge management for all business analysis activities

What we're looking for

  1. 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
  2. Proficient in business process mapping, requirements gathering and analysis techniques
  3. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  5. Experience with business analysis tools such as Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software
  6. A degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
