We are looking for an Accounting Associate who will focus on BIR compliance and Financial Statement (FS) preparation. The role supports the accounting team in ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely government submissions, and compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file BIR reports, returns, and schedules (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of Financial Statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of compliance requirements.
  • Maintain well-organized accounting and tax records.
  • Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for data gathering and report validation.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accountancy or a Business-related course.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in BIR compliance, financial reporting, or general accounting.
  • Familiar with BIR processes.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
