SEO Specialist

We are hiring an SEO Specialist to boost organic traffic, enhance search rankings, and strengthen our presence in travel and coupon-related searches in the Philippines. The ideal candidate is skilled in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, with strong analytical abilities and collaboration skills with IT and content teams.
This role suits someone who blends technical SEO expertise with creative content strategy to help B ticket rank higher among local and international travelers, especially in Korean and Japanese markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Research
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on travel, couponing, and tourism keywords.
- Conduct keyword and entity research to identify high-potential topics aligned with audience intent.
- Perform competitor analysis (both local and international) to identify ranking opportunities.
On-Page SEO
- Optimize website structure, meta tags, headers, schema markup, and internal linking.
- Review and update existing content to align with SEO and user intent.
- Coordinate with content writers to ensure SEO-friendly content creation (blogs, landing pages, travel guides).
Off-Page SEO
- Build and implement effective backlink strategies through partnerships, guest posts, and outreach.
- Manage link-building initiatives to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
- Conduct backlink audits to remove toxic links and maintain a healthy link profile.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Provide monthly reports highlighting insights, keyword rankings, and recommended actions.
- Identify trends, issues, and areas of improvement through data analysis.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the IT/development team to resolve technical SEO issues (crawlability, site speed, indexing).
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to enhance SEO impact and user experience.
- Assist in social media optimization to support overall digital visibility.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and traffic.
- Proficiency in WordPress, including plugins and technical optimization.
- Strong knowledge of HTML elements, structured data, and schema markup.
- Hands-on experience with SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, or Moz.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and Looker Studio for reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver actionable insights and collaborate across teams.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and zero-click search optimization.
- Familiarity with multilingual SEO strategies (especially for Korean/Japanese markets).
- Basic knowledge of PPC or Google Ads campaigns.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Yoast SEO, HubSpot SEO).
Performance Indicators
- Growth in organic search traffic
- Improvement in keyword rankings for target topics (e.g., "couponing in the Philippines")
- Increase in backlink quality and domain authority
- Measurable rise in engagement and conversion rates from organic channels
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
