About the role

Yinshan Lending Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accountant/Accounting Officer to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accurate reporting to support our lending operations.

What you'll be doing

Seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Officer/Accountant to manage and maintain the financial health and records of our organization.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, including but not limited to, financial reporting, budget preparation, tax compliance, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Bookkeeping: Maintain and update the general ledger. Prepare and post journal entries for all business transactions, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.

  2. Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR): Process vendor invoices, prepare payment vouchers, and manage payment schedules. Issue customer invoices, monitor collections, and reconcile accounts receivable balances.

  3. Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  4. Tax Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly and quarterly tax returns with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), including but not limited to VAT, Withholding Tax on Compensation, and Expanded Withholding Tax.

  5. Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  6. Financial Reporting Assistance: Support the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards

(PFRS).

Qualifications:

  1. Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role for at least 5 years (CPA license is not required

  2. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations

  3. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
