About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for Controllership to take charge of Finance Controls and General Accounting. This role is accountable for the preparation and review of financial reports and statements, ensuring timely account reconciliations, and closing activities. The successful candidate will serve as a key individual contributor who safeguards the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and execute Finance Controls and General Accounting activities in compliance with company policies, Philippine regulations, and PFRS.

* Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial reports and statements.

* Perform and monitor account reconciliations to validate balances and entries.

* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely adjustments.

* Strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements for efficiency and compliance.

* Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders during reviews and reporting cycles.

* Provide subject matter expertise in finance controllership and accounting standards.

Qualifications

* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

* Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in financial reporting, controllership, or general accounting, preferably at a senior associate, team lead, or supervisory level.

* Solid experience in service-oriented industries in the Philippines.

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, PFRS, and internal controls.

* Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel.

* High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
