Role Overview

Lhoopa is looking for a Communications Manager who can turn strategy into sharp, consistent execution. This role anchors the comms function — shaping how our story is told across media, regulators, investors, partners, and the broader housing sector.

You'll manage day-to-day communications, strengthen Lhoopa's credibility as a tech-driven affordable housing leader, and ensure our message stays clear, aligned, and disciplined across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Narrative & Content Execution

  • Manage the weekly and monthly execution calendars of Lhoopa's narrative roadmap
  • Drive end-to-end production of company publications (newsletters, press releases, whitepapers, research/studies, impact reports), in collaboration with teams
  • Coordinate input from data, operations, policy, and leadership to shape high-precision drafts
  • Manage revisions, approvals, and final deliverables with minimal oversight
  • Package stories for each audience: regulators, investors, media, partners, and brokers/contractors

Brand & Message Consistency

  • Ensure all decks, briefs, statements, and partner materials follow unified narrative architecture
  • Enforce template usage, tone adherence, and design standards across teams and external partners
  • Maintain and regularly update the brand book and message bank

Media & Visibility Operations

  • Translate key milestones from Lhoopa's narrative roadmap into pitching opportunities (eg., CSR, partnership announcements, proprietary studies)
  • Manage PR agency output and hold them to timelines and deliverables
  • Draft and package press kits, media advisories, op-eds, and expert commentary
  • Support Head of Communications in maintaining a structured engagement system with priority journalists

Thought Leadership & Publication Pipeline

  • Develop the content pipeline for Lhoopa's 2026 initiatives, with support from the Communications Associate
  • Coordinate research validation, data scrubbing, design, and rollout plans
  • Ensure every publication has a visibility strategy (media, social, stakeholder push, events)

Event & Program Delivery

  • Drive execution of all public events and activations, including stakeholder events, CSR partnerships, speaking engagements and partner activations
  • Ad-hoc opportunities with Pag-IBIG, DHSUD, LGUs, developers, and investor groups

Responsibilities include:

  • Project management from planning to post-event outputs
  • Development of speaker briefs & talking points (for founder/COO/VPs)
  • On-site comms control: documentation, media relations, and content capture
  • Post-event summaries, visibility recaps, and amplification

Stakeholder & Partner Communications

  • Produce partnership content and stories (eg., CSR tie-ups, government co-launches) to grow visibility
  • Coordinate closely with Strategy, Operations, and Public Affairs to ensure aligned messaging

Issues & Crisis Response Execution

  • Run the operational side of crisis comms: escalation logging, drafting statements, preparing FAQs, coordinating with ops
  • Maintain updated risk trackers, holding statements, and spokesperson materials

Reporting & Governance

  • Ensure timely updates on the full reporting cadence:

  • Weekly COO updates

  • Monthly KPI dashboard
  • Event/media debriefs
  • Quarterly narrative insights & next steps

  • Track execution against roadmap milestones and flag slippage early

  • Keep knowledge repositories updated (project trackers, media & stakeholder lists, event logs, message banks, stakeholder maps)

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience in communications, PR, public affairs, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex topics. Strong grasp of English and Filipino/Taglish required; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of media dynamics and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Project management discipline and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in tech, real estate, or development is a plus but not required.
