Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

  • Diagnose and treat various types of cancer using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy.
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic results and patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Provide palliative care and support to patients and families.
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives to advance cancer treatment.

Managerial Duties:

  • Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals including nurses, pharmacists, and support staff.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Oversee departmental operations, including scheduling, compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Mentor junior physicians and contribute to staff development and training.
  • Collaborate with hospital administration to improve oncology services and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Medical Oncology.
  • Board Certification in Medical Oncology.
  • Valid and active medical license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in strategic planning and departmental leadership.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and oncology-specific software.
  • Ability to manage complex cases and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Empathy and resilience in handling emotionally challenging situations.
