THE ROLE (Job Description)

As a Site Safety Officer II, you'll be the frontliner of health, safety, and environmental protection — ensuring every project site operates with zero harm and 100% compliance. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and HR to uphold the company's safety culture and standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce mandatory safety, environmental, and security policies across all operations in assigned projects.
• Coordinate safety, HR, and operational concerns with the Project Manager, Officer-in-Charge, and HR Officer to ensure sound and proper practice of all safety, environmental and security policies.
• Represent Nature's Blend Water Systems in safety-related meetings and communications with client representatives.
• Conduct daily and regular roving, monitoring, reporting activities (as required by the Employer and Project owner) and produce complete documentation of manpower loading, attendance keeping, safety man-hours, risk/hazard assessments (low to high-risk activities and areas) and enforcement in all assigned posts or areas throughout the site.
• Maintain proper inventory of all onsite safety and medical equipment and supplies, including ensuring supply levels are above reorder point, and to inform the Purchasing Team once replenishment is necessary right away.
• Regularly report immediate emergencies or near-misses to the Head Office for urgent response measures and assessments to be taken and to document such incidents accordingly.
• During emergencies, promptly coordinate with relevant medical authorities or partner medical institutions and the Head Office for monitoring and resolution of matter.
• Regularly conduct orientations on existing and new mandatory safety and precautionary measures to all officers and workers during toolbox meetings, and for all new workers and site visitors.
• Practice confidentiality and discretion throughout all human resource-related concerns, including medical concerns, and immediately relay such information to the HRDAA Department only.
• Comply with all established company policies, regulations and procedures being enforced by both Nature's Blend Water Systems USA and the client or project owner.
• Build and maintain good working relationships amongst all peers, authorized client representatives, and project managers onsite to inculcate loyalty and trust, and encourage continued preference for the company's various products and services.
• Perform other duties as required to maintain safety and operational efficiency onsite.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's Degree in any field (Engineering, Environmental Science, or related courses preferred)
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer II or III (SO2/SO3) certification from an authorized training institution (required)
• 2–3 years of experience as a Site Safety Officer II in construction, engineering, or water/wastewater projects
• NC II Certification (e.g., Scaffolding, Welding, Masonry, etc.) is an advantage
• Familiarity with Risk Assessment Analysis (HAZCON, HAZOP) and hazard identification methodologies
• Knowledge of construction safety management, incident reporting, and man-hour documentation
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; team-oriented and adaptable
• Physically fit and willing to be assigned on-site (Imus, Cavite or other project locations)
• Driver's license for vehicle or scooter is a plus
