About the role

Join our dynamic team at Evrima Staffing Solutions as a full-time Cost Estimator. This strategic role will see you providing accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, playing a crucial part in the company's ongoing success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  2. Analyze project plans, specifications, and historical data to develop comprehensive cost breakdowns
  3. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to refine estimates and ensure alignment with budgets
  4. Stay up-to-date with market trends, material pricing, and industry regulations to inform the estimating process
  5. Contribute to the development of standard estimating templates and procedures to enhance efficiency
  6. Provide expert guidance and support to the wider project delivery team

What we're looking for

  1. Proven relevant experience of at least 3-5 years as a Cost Estimator and having the ability to design & quote based on site conditions
  2. Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, and Australian industry standards
  3. Strong preference for having worked in the height safety industry
  4. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  5. Proficient in using Bluebeam & MS Excel
  6. Can start work immediately
  7. Highly effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  8. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, reliable estimates
  9. Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field
