Job Title: Construction Cost Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to play a key role in our construction process.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with estimating software are essential for this position.

  • Analyzing architectural and engineering drawings, project plans, and specifications.
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Developing and maintaining a database of unit costs, productivity rates, and supplier pricing.
  • Coordinating with project managers to ensure smooth transitions from bid review to production.

Our team is looking for someone who can demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience with estimating in residential, commercial, civil, or industrial construction.
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
