1. Cleaning & Sanitation

  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and work areas following food safety standards.
  • Clean office areas, including break rooms, restrooms, hallways, and meeting rooms.
  • Safely use cleaning tools and chemicals; wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow daily cleaning checklists and record completed tasks.

2. General Facility Support

  • Help maintain a clean, safe environment in both the plant and office.
  • Take out trash, recycling, and food waste from all areas.
  • Restock cleaning supplies, soap, paper towels, and hygiene products.

3. Assisting with Maintenance

  • Support the maintenance team with basic tasks like changing filters, tightening screws, or helping move equipment.
  • Report any broken equipment, leaks, or hazards to a supervisor immediately.

4. Production Help

  • Move ingredients, materials, and finished products between areas as needed.
  • Help set up or clean down production lines between shifts.
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks (may require lifting up to 50 lbs).

5. Safety & Food Compliance

  • Always follow health, safety, and food hygiene rules (like GMP and HACCP).
  • Wear required PPE (e.g., gloves, hairnets, masks) at all times in the plant.
  • Attend safety briefings and report any unsafe behaviour or conditions.

6. Team Communication

  • Work as part of a team with production, cleaning, and office staff.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate clearly if there are issues or questions.
  • Keep a positive and respectful attitude with co-workers and managers.

7. Flexibility & Availability

  • Be available to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime when needed.
  • Fill in for absent team members when requested.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Physically fit – able to lift, bend, stand, and move throughout a shift.
  • Willing to learn and follow food safety rules.
  • Reliable and on time for scheduled shifts.
