Job Summary

The Safety Officer III is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs across project sites. This role ensures full compliance with RA 11058 and DOLE Department Order 198-18, conducts regular safety inspections, and leads initiatives to maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce OSH policies and site-specific safety plans
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings and regular safety orientations
  • Perform risk assessments, job hazard analysis, and site safety inspections
  • Monitor compliance with DOLE regulations, including report submissions and documentation
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and prepare detailed safety reports
  • Lead emergency response planning and conduct safety drills
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters
  • Maintain updated permits, clearances, and safety documentation onsite
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions for identified hazards
  • Prepare and submit mandatory DOLE OSHC reports & CHSP (WAIR, Annual Self-Assessment, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Must be a Certified Safety Officer II & III (completed 40-hour BOSH or COSH, plus relevant OSH training)
  • At least 3–5 years experience as a Safety Officer in construction or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of RA 11058, DOLE DO 198-18, and other safety standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and incident-handling skills
  • Physically fit and willing to be assigned at project sites
  • With valid certificates, permits, and licenses (OSHC, LCM, OHSEM, etc.)

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From Php23,000.00 per month
