The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for fostering a positive and compliant work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing workplace investigations, and supporting the company's employee relations programs. This role works closely with HR leadership and business managers to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees while aligning with company policies and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and labor laws.
- Investigate and resolve complex employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Collaborate with managers and HR Business Partners to address performance, behavioral, and disciplinary matters.
- Draft and issue disciplinary actions, corrective measures, and documentation as needed.
- Monitor trends and provide recommendations to proactively address potential employee relations issues.
- Support compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and code of conduct.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of cases and investigations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Deliver trainings and orientation sessions related to company policies, workplace behavior, and grievance handling.
- Partner with HR leadership to ensure consistent application of policies across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in employee relations, labor relations, or general HR.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
- Proven experience conducting investigations and handling sensitive employee matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Experience in a BPO or fast-paced environment is an advantage.
